Husband and wife team, Ian and Monique Gorda started the vision of Canterbury Homes in 1990. In the beginning the Gorda’s built houses for themselves. Each home they designed and built was improved and fine tuned until the team perfected the art of designing and building beautiful and functional homes. Today the Gorda’s build a small quantity of the highest quality homes in the greater Edmonton area. This allows them to work closely with each client throughout the building process and beyond. You will always be dealing directly with an owner.

Ian’s 20 years of management and construction experience set out the foundation of the company. His commitment to excellence is what has kept Canterbury Homes growing with a stellar reputation.

Monique attended the University of Alberta where she graduated with Distinction in the Residential Interiors Program. Her love for architecture and design is influenced by her European background. Monique’s eye for design and practicability compliments Ian’s attention to detail and high standards.
