We recently completed construction of our new home in Sherwood Park with Canterbury Homes.  Having previous experience with building three different homes, and two different builders, the thought was a bit frightening to say the least, especially when we decided to tackle building again.  The past experiences were extremely frustrating and disappointing with a process that should be memorable.
Ian and Monique Gorda of Canterbury Homes provided everything from start to finish to help create a beautiful home.  It was an extremely easy process from discussing plans to choosing colors, finishes and everything else that goes into building a new home.  They both were very knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating and enjoyable to work with.
Bev and I would recommend Canterbury to anyone considering building a new home as it was an extremely painless process and continues to be now that we have enjoyed the first few months problem-free in our new home.

My wife and I had been searching for a builder for close to eighteen months when we stumbled upon Canterbury Homes in the Summer of 2009.  Their response to our initial call was prompt.
After exploring their previous work, which included their personal home, we were impressed by their artistic flair and meticulous craftsmanship.  We were impressed even further when we signed up with them to build our home.
Monique and Ian pay impeccable attention to detail and have been totally dedicated to helping us achieve the home of our dreams.  They did extensive legwork for us and bent over backwards to accommodate our schedule through the different phases of building.  They were dependable and completely transparent and we knew exactly what to expect at all stages.  They gracefully and gently guided us through potential pitfalls as we chose the various fixtures without making us feel pressured.  They provided professional advice without shadowing our taste or dream.
The final product was ahead of schedule and, just like their previous work, is a masterpiece.  Even after moving in Monique and Ian have continued to be accessible and resourceful friends and neighbours in helping us get settled in.  We are ever so thankful for their selfless dedication and unreservedly recommend them.

Our family took possession of a new spec home built by Canterbury Homes in April 2007. The entire moving experience (buying and selling a home) for many is a busy and can be stressful.
